The NC offers some of the most amazing scenery and historical/archaeological/natural sites I’ve ever seen. I went alone, which was pleasant, but I would have enjoyed it more with a companion since neither the road nor all of the sites are well marked. You can’t really get lost, but having someone able to give directions would help.1/5().
